When I joined Magus, the process was simple, straightforward and smooth. I was supported by the Magus team every step of the way. A business that goes from strength to strength – I’m really proud to be part of it.
I feel very much part of the Magus family and I’ve been really impressed by the team and the absolute focus and attention to detail. Everyone here is very experienced, highly knowledgeable and dedicated to providing the very best client service.
The planning process is definitely not a one-person operation at Magus. We have a fantastic technical and administration team allowing us to provide a tailored service based on the different personal needs and aspirations of our individual clients.
Client Support Team
Join the Magus team in one of our client support roles
We have a lively and friendly support team here at Magus, who play a critical role in ensuring that our Financial Planners have the infrastructure and support they need, allowing them to spend more time with their clients.
Our client support team is made up of our Client Support Managers (Paraplanners), Client Support Assistants and Client Relationship Managers.
I love the team spirit and positivity at Magus and that every member has an important role to play. Magus is expanding all the time – I’m excited to be part of the process and feel a real sense of involvement.
I very much enjoy building relationships with our clients and working as a team – client satisfaction is somehow engrained in me.
It takes a little time to settle into a new role and company, but the team at Magus made me feel very welcome right from the very start. I am enjoying being part of the ‘Magus Family’ and working in a team which is so client focused.

In order for you to become a qualified Financial Planner, you’ll need to attain the Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. This professional qualification meets the FCA’s requirements for developing core technical knowledge and financial planning capabilities across six core, modular areas:
You need to pass all six modules to become a fully qualified Financial Planner and you will have attained DipPFS.
You may be eligible to claim exemptions for relevant exams and qualifications obtained through other professional bodies or universities. Subject to the published qualification completion requirements these can be used to help you achieve CII qualifications more quickly.
Building your career
The Diploma will assist you and demonstrates your commitment to learning and development. Because its modular you can work the qualification around your personal circumstances.
Upon completion you can apply to use the DipPFS, so your clients know they are dealing with a proven and competent professional. Through Continued Professional Development (CPD) you will continue your technical and professional development so your knowledge and the advice you give to clients remains current.
If you want to develop yourself further you can work towards higher level professional qualification such as ‘Chartered Financial Planner’.
We’re here to support you every step of the way.
